URGENT! OWNER NEEDS TO SURRENDER:

This beautiful girl is Xena- Princess Warrior. She is an 11 year old husky mix. Her owner can no longer care for her and needs to rehome her. She needs someone who has the time to give an old girl like her the best golden years!

Xena is very mellow and loves her sniff walks. She does pull a bit on a regular collar at first, but she slows down once her daily walks get underway or she releases some energy before her walks. Huskies are escape artists so a home with a fence would be ideal, however she does not like being left alone in the yard and will try to follow you out.

Surprisingly, Xena is as quiet as a mouse but she will do a beautiful howl at times when she hears sirens. She is a sweet as can be but does have some minor guarding towards her food bowl if left out all day. (The origin of this is from kids playing with her food while she was trying to eat as a puppy). This was easily managed by making her wait politely before being fed, not bothering her while she eats, and removing her food bowl once mealtime is done. Over-affection gets Xena a little excited and she needs to be reminded not to jump but listens well. She would like a strong, confident and calm leader to spend her final years with!
