Hi! I'm Ema, Registered Nurse and the proud owner of Em's PAWSS! Born in Europe and raised in Philadelphia, I have always had a passion for animals since childhood. That passion only furthered my understanding and love for all animals, which fueled my desire to care for them. I always loved being around them so after becoming an RN and helping others for years, my heart led me right back to pet care, so I can help people and their beloved fur-baby's.
As a pet parent myself, I understand that leaving your dog in someone else's care is a big decision. I know how tough it can be to put your trust in someone to care for your pet, and how hard it is to find a place that will give your pup the care and attention they deserve. That is why I formed Em's PAWSS and why we operate it with integrity. By placing trust & transparency as a key factor to a great relationship with our clients, you can rest assured knowing your pet is in qualified, loving & protective hands.

Em's PAWSS offers All Inclusive Free-Roam Boutique Homestyle daycare and boarding with unique complimentary perks such as homemade treats & meals, end of stay baths for boarding & more. Our services include a wide array of customizable activities with premium activity upgrade options such as walks, herding ball, bike ride & more! We also offer exciting adventure field trips for your pup!
We are fully Licensed and insured through NEXT First Insurance Agency, Inc. and all team members have passed a background check through Acutraq.
The Em's PAWSS team is trained on animal body language, pet CPR & first aid, bite prevention, leash walking skills, and more!
We have limited daily slots for all services in order to provide high-quality care for your fur-baby and put their needs over quantity.
Pets must be at least 4 months old to attend & spayed/neutered by 1 year of age.
Pets must have leash & collar/harness with ID tag upon arrival. (We do not accept pets with e-collars.)
Rescue dogs over 1 year old must have lived in the same household for at least 1 year.
Dogs must be up to date on all vaccines + bordetella or have titers w/ proof of immunity from vet & they must have negative fecal.
Pets must be on flea, tick & heart-worm prevention or complete disease testing every 6 months with vet.
Pets must be crate/pen trained for their safety & comfort during mealtime & rest periods and adult dogs must have basic obedience/manners.
Dogs over 6 months old must be potty trained. (We understand accidents happen).
Dogs must not have any medical conditions that require IV/Injection meds or any other special treatments. (Oral pills/liquid; ear/eye drops & topical creams are allowed.)
Pets must NOT have a history of biting or aggression with people & dog's or show aggressive signs/behaviors.
Dogs must have successfully completed a FREE day of play evaluation & temperament test.
